HI, I'm Christina, founder of Lorusso Travel. 

Before entering the travel industry, I spent years as a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, working in emergency medicine. Later, I stepped away from my nursing career to focus on raising my two sons, who are now 18 and 21.

Travel became an important part of our lives when my boys were young. Beginning in my 30s, I made it a priority to explore new destinations with my family, often taking trips with just the three of us. I wanted my sons to experience different cultures, broaden their perspectives, and develop a love for travel that would stay with them throughout their lives.

In my 40s, I took my first solo trip. What began as a personal challenge quickly became a passion. I discovered that independent travel offers something truly special—the confidence that comes from navigating unfamiliar places, embracing new experiences, and realizing you're capable of more than you imagined.

At 51, life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The years that followed were filled with treatments, surgeries, and challenges that tested me in ways I never anticipated. While I would never have chosen that experience, it changed my perspective on life in profound ways.

Facing my own mortality taught me that too many of us spend years waiting for the "right time" to pursue our dreams, take the trip, or experience the places we've always wanted to see. I realized that someday is never guaranteed.

Travel had always been one of my greatest passions, and for years I had dreamed of building a travel business of my own. At 53, I decided it was time to stop putting that dream on hold.

Today, Lorusso Travel is the result of that decision.

My mission is simple: to help others travel with greater confidence, clarity, and purpose. Whether you're planning your first solo adventure, a thoughtfully designed European itinerary, a cruise, or a journey you've been postponing for years, I believe meaningful travel has the power to enrich our lives and create memories that last a lifetime.

Life is meant to be lived, not endlessly postponed. My hope is to help you experience more of the beautiful places, cultures, and people God has created—and to give you the confidence to take the trip you've been dreaming about.
